Legal Aid is guided by the community we serve ..


Legal Aid of Western Michigan is a private non-profit organization governed by a 21 member volunteer Board of Directors drawing from both the legal and client communities that we serve.

Sixty percent of our Board members are attorneys appointed by the local Bar Associations in our 17 county service area:
