Legal Aid of Western Michigan offers free legal services in non-criminal cases to financially eligible low income and elderly residents of Western Michigan. 

• If you are financially eligible for our services and we take your case, our attorneys do not charge any fees for the services they provide.
• If you are not a low income person or senior, we cannot provide assistance.
  
• In some cases, there are court costs or other "out-of-pocket" expenses that you may be asked to pay.

While no payment for services is required, a client may make a voluntary donation of any amount to help with the costs of providing services and allow LAWM to serve others.  Any donations are tax deductible to the giver.
